Connie Ramsay Bott has been coming to the poetry workshops at Worcester Cathedral for many years. From the days when Birmingham poet David Hart led the group with his generous, inspiring sessions to today when we take turns running the three hour slot. With a variety of workshop leaders, this group of poets is able to fill the blank page and go to some surprising places. Writing in the Cathedral is a treat, so many quiet places, so much to learn and share.
Connie’s poems and stories have been published in a number of magazines and anthologies, including The Rialto, Iota, Northwords Now, and Inkspill Magazine. Her short story “Watching Robert Duffin” won the 2013 Baker Prize. Her novel Girl Without Skin will be published by Cinnamon Press in 2017.
