Inny Cinny and Don by Bob Woodroofe

not to be outdone she had three
they lived in a crack in the skirting
below the cistern in the downstairs loo

they played in there together
never came out into the hall
you always knew they were there
got the impression somehow
that you were being watched

I never ever saw them or met them
they never answered when I called
when we moved house
they were left behind
they’re probably still there now
playing games with that
